He has 25 years’ legal, management, regulatory and compliance, and dispute resolution experience in the mining, energy, resources, oil and gas industries specialising in cultural heritage, land claims and native title.

His expertise includes advising some of Australia’s largest mining, energy and resources clients on the development and operation of major projects across Australia. Shaz is the Managing Director of Arra Group Pty Ltd (ARRA), a majority Indigenous (Aboriginal), owned, managed, and controlled company, Perth, WA based company.
