The most famous trophy in the hockey world will soon be making its way to northern Saskatchewan. The Stanley Cup is set to make a four-day tour through the six communities of the Lac La Ronge Indian Band. Former NHLers Bryan Trottier and Rich Pilon will be chaperoning the cup visit. The tour is scheduled for February 5-8. However, an official schedule for the tour has not been released. MBC News spoke to Kevin Roberts, Director of Sports, Culture and Recreation for LLRIB.

Kitsaki Management has expanded its portfolio to a company in British Columbia. The Economic Arm of the Lac La Ronge Indian Band recently purchased Fab-Rite Services, a steel fabrication company out of Cranbrook. MBC News spoke with Kitsaki CEO Ron Hyggen about how the acquisition came together and how he feels in compliments Kitsaki's portfolio. Here is that conversation.

A proposed northern Saskatchewan mine site will be the subject of several days of public hearings this week. The Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission will hold three days of hearings in Saskatoon on Denison Mines proposed Wheeler River Project. The public hearings start Monday and run until Wednesday. MBC's Joel Willick spoke with the Commission Registrar Candace Salmon on the hearings.
