A new memorial bench has been placed on the Prince Albert Rotary Trail.

The memorial bench can be found on the trail south of the Victoria Hospital

Theron Morin, son of Jean Lachance, worked with the city to make arrangements for the location. 

LaChance, a 29 year-old mother of five, was murdered on September 15, 1991.

She was found in a field near the Victoria hospital.

Last year, Morin started his fundraising for the memorial bench and reached his goal in two-days.
