A Cree and Mohawk comedic performer has been chosen as the University of Saskatchewan's next Indigenous Storyteller-in-Residence.

Beginning in February, Shawn Cuthand will spend a three-month tenure promoting Indigenous stories on the university campus.

In a conversation with MBC Radio News, Cuthand spoke on what he hopes to bring to the role.
