The federal government recently released their Indigenous Justice Strategy - setting out to reform the justice system and to support Indigenous laws and legal orders.

The Metis-Nation Saskatchewan was quick to praise the new federal strategy that in part will combat the over-representation of Indigenous people in the criminal justice system.

MBC Radio News spoke with MN-S Vice President Michelle LeClair about the new strategy.
