The First Nations University of Canada Spring Celebration Powwow is coming up.

The two day event is a celebration of Indigenous culture which starts tomorrow.

The Spring Celebration is in their 45th year and usually kick off powwow season.

The powwow has planned singing competitions and variety of dance specials that draw the attention of many competitors.

Every year they have a Miss First Nations University of Canada Powwow Princess and they will be crowning a new Powwow Princess this year. 

Cherish Jean-Baptiste, a co-chair on the powwow committee, says the powwow attracts many visitors, dancers, and singers from all over Canada and the United States.
