The future of an arena for the La Ronge Ice Wolves was a big topic of discussion at a recent La Ronge Town Council meeting.

The Ice Wolves were seeking information from the town as to what the plan is for the future of a rink in the community.

The team says the Mel Hegland Uniplex no longer meets their needs and they need to know what the plan is going forward.

The town says a lack of grant money has made it difficult to move forward as the town cannot afford a new arena on municipal funds alone.
