A former Chief of Makwa Sahgaiehcan First Nation is being inducted into the Saskatchewan Sports Hall of Fame.

Ray Mitsuing spent 36 years as a chuckwagon driver winning several events and competing at the Calgary Stampede multiple times.

MBC's Joel Willick spoke with Mitsuing about the honour.

The Community Arts Mentorship Program has received $175,000 in funding for the next four years.

CAMP facilitates multiple programs centered around creative arts and culture. 

The funding was provided through the Downie-Wenjack Capacity Building fund.
