Wellington regional council's Simon Woolf is among those calling for local Government to be reformed.

New Zealand First's Shane Jones last week told a local Government forum he doesn't see a compelling reason for maintaining regional government. 

Woolf labelled it a 'mess' that needed a review - and he joined the Afternoons team to explain why.
