The All Whites have played out an entertaining 2-2 draw with Iran in their first match of the 2026 Fifa World Cup in Los Angeles.

Having opened the scoring in the first half, Elijah Just became the first New Zealander to score two senior men's World Cup goals after 54 minutes.

Iran found a second equaliser ten minutes later - and New Zealand fired off 13 attempts on goal to Iran's 17.

The All Whites next face Egypt in Vancouver on Monday.
