Montgomery serves as chairman and chief investment officer, and is responsible for portfolio management, research, risk oversight and (his favorite) mentoring. Montgomery worked with computer modeling and statistical methods as a research engineer at MIT in the late 1970s, and later, at Harvard, investigated ways to apply such modeling to portfolio management.
