Down by 3 late in the third, the Royals struck for a pair to make things close.
Victoria got goal and assist nights from Nate Misskey and Dawson Pasternak, with singles coming form Deegan Kinniburgh and Tanner Scott. Robin Sapousek added a pair of helpers.
Brayden Holt came in relief stopping 12 of 13 fired his way, while Scott Ratzlaff picked up the split with 13 saves.
