If you want to rank higher on Google, you gotta look at your page speed time. The faster website loads, the better off you are. With Google's Core Vital update that makes it super super important to optimize your site for low time. And one easy way to do it is use the host that Eric and I use, dream Hosts. So just go to dream host or Google it, find it, check it out, and it's a great way to improve your low time. Welcome to another episode of Marketing School. I'm Merik Sue and I'm Neil Patel, and today we're coming to you remotely to talk about another another new SEO report from Google that will help you growth. This actually came from Google Google's new recent conference, the Io Conference. Neil, do you want to reveal what this new report does. Yeah, it's a new more advanced page page speed tool in which it tells you how fast your website loads or doesn't load in some cases, in a much more effective way for you to figure out how you can improve it. Yeah, it's very actional. I mean I'm looking literally looking at the screens right now of what this is. And you can you can literally go apply for this if you just search for Google Search consoles, you know, speed report. I think you should be able to find a Google form where you can put in your information. But basically I'm looking at it, and imagine this. When you log into Google Search console, you can see a you can see a stacked bar graph right, and it shows you in one bar you might have a portion of it that's yellow, a portion of it that's green, and a portion that's red. Green means it's fast, yellow means its average, red means it's low. And you can see every single day how it looks across your entire site. So it's more actionable because let's say all of a sudden the bars start turning more red than yellow, then you know you have a problem that's happening across your entire site. So I think, to me, it's more actionable versus just looking at a page. Speed report. I don't know what you think about it, Neil No, I think it's great, and it's all about getting more and more things that are actionable that will help you just increase your overall site. Here's the thing about SEO. A lot of people believe that, oh, there's two hundred factors, if you do them all, you'll do really well, and they are correct, But there's some that matter more than others. And one of those main ones is page speed. And I found that the faster your site loads, we notice a direct correlation in traffic. Now, whether Google uses that as a ranking signal, and they do, but whether they decide not to where they decide to use it more in the future, it doesn't really matter. And here's why. If your site loads faster, you'll notice that you create a better user experience for people. You'll notice that your boundary will decrease, your time on site will increase, they'll go through more pages. That all matters because it's not just about speed to increase your Google rankings. It's about speed to increase your sales. And Amazon had this whole study that came out in the past and I don't have the data anymore, but it was something ridiculous like for every second of delayed low time that people experience on Amazon, they lose like x billion dollars or something ridiculous like that. Yep, totally Actually, I mean I'm looking at this report to Firebase. So part of Google is launching a free new real time user performance monitoring for the web. So that's in addition so that I think there's a lot of this talk about performance that happened in the last conference that they did, and also in this in this page speed report, it's not just the bar grass, but it actually shows you if you have specific issues to solve too. So they're basically making this free tool Google Search Console a lot more useful, and I think it would be you know, for those of you that don't have Google Search Console right now and you're not paranoid of Google, it would make sense for you to absolutely get on this. So again, I think what you can do is you can just Google new Google Console Search Console speed Report, and then you can find a link it's a Google form, and then you can add yourself. If this hasn't been rolled out already by the time of this recording going live, anything else to add. Nope, that's it for mine, all right, So before we go, you can still register for single ring dot com slash DTLA for our live event, Marketing School Live. It's happening on June twenty ninth.
