Let's start leveling up your marketing knowledge with your instructors, Neil Patel and Eric Sue. All right, guys, before we start, we got a special message from our sponsor. If you want to rank higher on Google, you got to look at your page speed time. The faster website loads, the better off you are with Google's Core Vital update. That makes it super super important to optimize your site for low time. And one easy way to do it is use the host that Eric and I use, dream Hosts. So just go to dream host or Google it, find it, check it out, and it's a great way to improve your low time. Today we are going to talk about what Neil learned from responding to seventy five, four hundred and forty one comments Big me I learn from it. It helps you build a deeper connection with your audience, and it makes them more loyal, It makes them evangelize you more, it makes, in essence, help you grow. And here's the thing. If someone takes the time to leave a comment, or ask you a question. The least you should do is respond. It's kind of rude. It's like someone coming to you in person, ask you a question, staring you in the face, and then you ignoring them. Respond to come. So, whether it's on your blog, social media or anywhere, respond to people and just be kind and try to help people out and don't expect anything. And this is not you just commenting and EMO gback. You're going beyond that. What are you actually saying to people? So someone asks the Digel question saying here's my website, here's the issues. I will go and try to respond and actually give them a solution. So if someone's just like, hey, I got d index from Google, I may load it up, check the robots at text file. I'll check their source code. I'll do a quick digging and then go from there. But funny enough, and this is random, and I won't mention names because I don't want to bash people. But I was at a conference once and someone came up to a speaker and that huge fan of yourself just wanted to say, Hi, I got this question for you, And before the speaker respond he said, hey, before I give you a response, and you know one thing, have you bought any one of my products or books or anything? And the person's like no, And then they're like, go buy something, and then you can come back and ask me a question. Never do that. You told me about this one before I forgot who it is. But here's another question people might have. So what if it's like, hey, I'm getting too many comments, Neil, you know, should I respond to every single one? Like that's not very practical. I would say, respond to all the ones that are asking you something, and you can ignore the ones that are just like thank you, great content, good information. So that's step one that'll cut down on what you have to respond to. The second thing I would do is if people ask you really long comments, ask them to rephrase it in one sentence or two sentences, so that way you can go through and faster and get to the meat of it versus someone you know sending you a whole page long worth of questions. So then that way it's more practical on your end as well. You know what I also do too for comments. Sometimes people will hit me on Instagram or whatever else, I'll just say, hey, I'm doing a Twitter space is actually so like web three related like why don't you come to my space and ask the question there? Or I might actually, if the question seems really good for me to make a brand new video on YouTube about it, I'll go ahead and do that. Or we might pull questions at like and then we might pull them into the topics for this podcast as well. So a lot of different ways to do it. I'm going to just tell them that you're actually going to make an episode on it, and that's going to make them even happier too, because you actually took their idea and you made it into something, so they feel like they collaborative with you there, and Neil, you've done this, like most people don't understand. Even with your old blog Quick Sprout, you responding every single comment there, and you do the same thing on YouTube even now, and you do the same thing on what other channels? Do you respond on? Instagram? LinkedIn? Not every single com majority, it's TikTok, respond to every single one TikTok. No I need to start participating more on TikTok. All right, All right, So that is it for today. Respond to your comments with reason. But you do want to if you want to create a community, then that's what you need to do. So that is it for today.
