I'm Eric Sue and I'm Neil Patel, and today we're going to talk about the optimal way to get the most work done in a day without working. All right, so let's talk about this. So recently we were recording this those of you that can see this live. I I have my iPad pro right here and I was like, Neil, you got to get the iPad pro because my other friend, a mutual friend, convinced me to live the iPad pro life right and I got it and I was so pissed off. I was like, man, this thing sucks. I can't get anything done right. Yeah, And that was the key thing because a couple weeks later, one of my friends like, man, I'm really thinking about getting the iPad pro that you guys have, because, like, if you think about your neive, you know, which is our mutual friend. He's an executive and he just his job is to tell people like, you know, tell his team like, hey, I need your help with this. I need your help with this. It's not his job to actually do things. So more so for executives and owners, especially when you have a team, if you're out there doing things all the time, the iPad actually prevents you from doing things, which is good because then you can work on delegating and think about strategic things. And when I do that, I actually feel like more of a relief. Like yesterday, I spent my entire day on this iPad pro and it was good because that's all I was doing. I was delegating, I was thinking strategically. But then when I get on a desktop. I'm just like, I can do this. I can do this, I can write a blog post, I can do this. I'm just like, I'm gonna do everything. I'm gonna play a game right now. You can't do that. I don't have those problems when I'm on my nest. I have that problem. I'm very efficient, Yeah, but I do agree. I'm more efficient on an iPad, and I bought it. I spent like over a thousand bucks and clean the keyboard and the pen I keep unscreening the pen cap like that is my bad happy. Yeah, Like, I do that around like fifty to one hundred times a day, and then I lose and then I gotta go find it in my head. It was crazy because I was telling him about it and then like two hours later he shows me a picture. He's like sitting with it on his couch. Yeah. Yeah, so it's great. The problem that I run into is I can't do everything on my iPad, And the part that has helped me out on is I was doing tasks that I shouldn't do. So I have enough people that work for me. I don't know how many, but it's in the hundreds at this point. And I was doing things like uploading my own videos to YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, all these places every day. I don't know if you knew that. No, And I was like, oh, I should delegate this. I'm like, this is so much better. Yeah. And now, like Carlos, who I love to death, Yeah, and he's probably here on the live. He even mentioned to me, He's like, hey, for tomorrow, does this description work? When I upload the videos? I was like, sounds good. Yeah. And you know what's even funny. After I would go into a video shoot and I would be the one. You know, it's me shooting all the videos. Pascually who shoots our videos. He then uploads it to frame dot ile, which is an amazing app to get feedback on videos. He would upload them, and then I would go through each and every single video and give feedback on any issues and give feedback and then download them then upload them to YouTube. Oh you would do it. And then you know when I post it live that day, then I upload it to Facebook, and then I upload it to LinkedIn, and then Carlos always uploaded to Instagram because I'm not a big Instagram user myself. Yeah, and then I'm like, let me just delegate this. Now I don't have to do anything like this is great. Yeah, and I don't even have to download or review the phrase. It's the best. It's the best. And it's just because of buying the iPad that itself saved me a lot of time. It's by by the way, it sounds like it's like a first world problem, Like it sounds like we're bragging. We're not bragging. This is more applicable to actually, like, if you have a team in place already, I think this is going to actually make you work on the things that are going to help you grow your business. Yeah. I spend more my time now on pitches. Yeah, because I can help my team close bigger deals. And I'm like, oh, it's such a more use of better time. And then when I'm not working, because I get down to it, I spend time with my wife and then eventually my newborn child. And it's like, this is the best present Eric got me, and you even have to buy it from me. He just told me what it is. I'm like, oh my god, this is an amazing gift. And we learned that from a mutual friend. You need from next Tiva. Funny enough, I use their phone service. I do too. Yeah, it's really affordable. Yeah. So in general, the only thing I have to say is when I write my weekly blog post, it's harder to do that from a iPad because I'm cropping images and I'm uploading it and it's harder to modify them. And the keyboard for me isn't that great on an iPad versus actual MacBook. Yeah, I'm okay with the keyboard. What I'll say is like a lot of the other things, like I was complaining to I was like, man, I was trying to export this CSP file. Won't let me on zip. I was like complaining about that. But yeah, I shouldn't be like doing the little things where I'm like getting leads and then dumping them into like a little outreach sequence and that kind of stuff. Right, there's people that are more than willing to help them. That's their job to do. Why am I doing their job when I don't need to be. Yeah, And I found that like little things don't work, Like I can't do a push notification really easily, and I'm like, wait, I should just have someone on my team do the push because you can't see the browser push notification easily on the iPad. Yep, I also craft all my own emails. It's harder to do the off the iPad. I'm like, wait, I shouldn't do that either. I should have someone else for our emails. So I'm like, I'm not thinking of all this stuff that I used to do. I'm like, I'm saving a ton of time by just not doing it. It's because so by the way, we're using an iPad pro than the one, the twenty eighteen one. It limits you. It prevents you from doing things. So when you're constrained like that, it's better for you in the long term, because we're too add nowadays with all these things that are going on. Yes, the biggest issue that I can't solve the blog posting. I'm okay with that. I can't solve my Google Analytics issues, and I need the app, the desktop version. Due to my traffic levels, the app doesn't update on a regular basis, So some days I'll freak out being like, oh my god, my traffic is one third, or yesterday my traffic was one third, you know, like did I get by a Google penalty, et cetera. And then I have to go to that day and see how many hours it actually updated, because sometimes for my Google Analytics, it'll take like two three days for to update my stats. Yeah, and sometimes it'll show me today's stats and yesterday's stats will be half the level because they don't fully updating all of yesterday. But they're already showing me today's stats. And I can see on an hourly basis today's up today, but yesterday wasn't so. But Eric taught me a solution today. Yeah, he has. Just for those of you that actually use an iPad pro, you can use an app called puffin that's puffi n that will give it on desktop form, like when you're logging into like a Google Analytics on your iPad, or you can just log into Google Chrome and then there's a switch to desktop view or request desktop view in your Google Chrome browser. My Google Chrome is an iPad view. Google. You could request desktop view. Do you have to apply to it? No? You just a button? Yeah, I just hit it. Seriously, you're not you're not joking and all my tabs and everything show up. Yes, I call bullshaite. No, you can do it. I'm serious. You can do it. Not all your tabs maybe, but that specific page you can do it for that page. So when you're on it, because you have you have like ten ten tabs open for that one tab that you're on, you can switch it. But I can't make Google Chrome look like it looks on my desktop. You can that will make it look like your desktop. No, No, I'm not talking about the url the page. I'm talking about the Chrome interface. Oh no, with my bookmarks, which your book to bars and all that. No, I wish they had that. I wish they had it too, But they're gonna make it better anyway. Guys, that's what we think. This is the optimal way to get things done. And I'm actually very happy that I got this, And now I understand why single rain dot com slash dt LA for our live event happening June twenty ninth, It's gonna be amazing. Can't wait to see you there. It is close to capacity right now, but still apply.
