Today we're going to talk about how you can use soul media to dominate Google's search results. Neil, how to heck you do that? Yeah? So, if you want to dominate the first page of any term that's related to your company or your brand, you have to create a lot of content. And everyone's like, oh, I can't create ten websites. I don't want my competitors to rank for my name. What you'll find is not only can you use social media to rank for your own brand name, but you can also use it to rank for a lot of other terms. Like if you look at cards right, like carousels, especially Twitter. If you search for anything, you're seeing a lot of tweets coming up because Google has this whole carousel full of tweets and great way to take up real state. Like for example, if you google Neil Patel, make sure you click on my domain name, because I don't want you to click on some other random stuff and reduce my SEO score. But nonetheless you can see a box full of tweets with other content right, it's from me. And you see the same thing with when you search for my name, my LinkedIn profiles, ranking, my Facebook profiles rank. By participating on all these social profiles, you can dominate the first page of Google because they rank them really well, not just for personal brands, but also for corporate brands. Yeah, I mean this also helps you from a reputation management perspective too. There was a brand we worked with a large alarm company brand and they had a negative result coming from Forbes. And all we did was we helped push the negative with the positive rankings that they had up like social profiles, and thank god they had a couple of social profiles, and then what happened was a negative one actually went down. So you can think about using it from a defensive perspective too. But I'm looking at Neil Patel dot just Neil Patel and yeah, I mean he's got YouTube, he's got his Google News up there, he's got Twitter, and also his images too, even though one of the images is his partner. I don't know why, but he's got a lot of real estate there, and it's just good to own that real estate. So you can stop any negative stuff from popping up. Yeah, so let's do something interesting now, Eric, in which if you guys want your social profiles to rank higher, we're going to go over some things that you can do to boost the rankings for these social profiles because just creating them isn't enough, and we'll keep going over some tips. So the first one link to your social profiles from your website. It'll show that it's very relevant to the company site and will also help boost the rankings. Yeah, I mean that's what I would have given. Link to them. Build more links to them too, if you want them to rank even higher. And the great thing about these social profiles, this is not really a separate answer, This is Neil's answer, is that the domain authority of these sites is so high already that when you linked them, you're just giving good signals to Google that this is relevant and they're going to be able to push it higher. Again, I'm just talking about owning the real estate, all right. I'll go number two then for air because he added to mine number two. Participate on these social profiles. Just creating them and not placing content on a regular basis isn't going to do you. Well, you got to participate. You got to make sure you're posting content each and every single week, if not multiple times a week. I have nothing else to that, all right, I'll keep going number three. Make sure you engage. You know that one, all right? Talk about engaging, all right? Yeah, make sure you engage. Make sure you actually respond to people that are commenting. Make sure that you are engaging with people that maybe they posted something that resonates with you. That way, you actually have a real social account. But I think the reason I'm struggling to come up with the answers because this seems like very dues stuff to me. So the thing I'll add for you is just how do you get basically listen to our past podcast on getting basic kind of link building going and basic social media going, because to me, again I shouldn't be doing this, but I just keep thinking that this is the stuff. Yes, but a lot of you guys don't do it. And another thing to do is every month, make sure you promote on Facebook, say hey, follow me on Twitter, YouTube, et cetera. And do that vice versa on all the social profiles. What you'll find is they'll all become more popular, and as they become more popular, they'll all start ranking higher and higher. And the last tip that I have for you is get personal. So what I found that really helps boost the popularity these social profiles, which causes them to rank higher, is when people get personal. And here's what I mean by that. Social is meant to be about you. Even if it's a corporate brand, it's about to be about the team, the history of the company. You need to post personal stuff on there. Our stuff that's more emotional right. You can use storytelling, you can use videos, whatever it may be. But by getting more in touch with your fans, what you'll find is you'll get more engagement, more likes, more people following you. They'll become more popular. Google Chrome probably will see more people are visiting them, and as they see that, they'll probably rank them higher as well, even though no one knows how much of these signals they actually use to rank sites.
