If you want to rank higher on Google, you gotta look at your page speed time. The faster website loads, the better off you are with Google's Core Vital update. That makes it super super important to optimize your site for low time. And one easy way to do it is use the host that Eric and I use, dream Hosts. So just go to dream host or Google it, find it, check it out, and it's a great way to improve your low time. Welcome to another episode of Marketing School. I'm Eric Sue and I'm Neil Patel, and today we are going to talk about how to really get your site ready for voice search. So what do we mean by that, how to really get your site ready for voice search? Well, we've already broken down how voice search is popular, right, It's over fifty percent of the search is according to comScore, we've already broken down how voice search is here to stay, so no one really has to worry about that, but we want to break down how you guys can get the most out of voice search for your website. Yep. So I think the very first thing that you have to do almost is you have to think about how you can get the featured snippet. And you know, when you think about the featured snippet, that's basically when you search for something, that's the box that's above right, so you can call it rank zero. What you have to basically do there is when you're writing something, maybe I'm maybe the question is how to tie a tie? Right, So maybe in your h one it's like, so how do you tie a tie? Question mark, and then right below it the paragraph right below it's a couple of sentences or so like this is how you tie a tie, or maybe you put like a bunch of steps, right, But you want to make it very easy for search spiders to basically look at something and be like, oh, this might be a good fit to put into the featured snippets. And so that's one of the ways you can get started with getting to that future snippet because what's going on is over forty percent right now of the voice search results are coming from the feature snippit, and I do think that's going to get bigger because they're only looking for one result at the end of the day. Yeah, and also when you're giving your response, try to keep it as detailed as possible, but also as short as possible. People don't want a five minute answer. They don't even want a one minute answer. They want to answer that they can get in a few seconds. And when these voice advices are spitting out the answer, it needs to be detailed but as short as possible as well. Yeah. And the other thing too is I mean, ideally, if your site's going to rank, you have to think about the feature snippet they're looking at, you know, they're looking at how strong your site is in terms of domain authority, right, they're also looking at other metrics too, I mean they're looking at the whole enchilada. So you have to think about, Hey, you want to get your site ready for voice search, Well, you got to get the basis of SEO, right. Part of that is if you have the future snippet and they actually want to click through and learn more, well you want to make sure your site is fast too, right, So a lot of people pay lip service to this, but you can use a Google Page speed tool. You want to reduce the load time, you know, optimize images on your site, you want to minify kind of you know, other elements on the page, and use something like a content delivery network to kind of you know, speed things up a little bit. Yeah, and then when you're getting all the voice search traffic, you'll also want to make sure you're monetizing it. Probably wondering, hey, how can you monetize it? There's tools like jets and AI that allow you to monetize a voice search traffic. They plug into a lot of the devices out there that people use for voice search. So that way people can make orders on your through your website or make orders from you, but through these voicearch devices. Yeah. And then the other thing too is if you're occupying the featured snippet, think about how you can creatively get your brand in there. Right. So, a lot of times if you're asking something it might be a short answer. But if the question is how to tie a tie and there's maybe you know, twelve steps in there, I might say maybe in sep Number five or something to learn more, like you know, you should do this with your tie, right, and then maybe I can like smartly insert something about my website like you know, go to you know, Eric Shou's fashion blog or something like that. Right, this is a terrible example I'm giving you right now, but my point is figure out how you can, you know, slowly or not slowly, slyly insert your branding in there. Because you know, we're talking about zero click searches continuing to go up and voice search is you know, contributing to that. That's pretty much it from my end. Anything else from yours, Nope, that is it, guys. We said it. Voice search is coming Mobile first world, that's what we live in. That is it for today.
