I'm Eric Sue and I'm Neil Patal, and today is part two of three on paid newsletters, and we're gonna go a little deeper into talking about how to launch a profitable newsletter in ten minutes flat. So all right, let's kick it off. Eric. So look, the last episode we've talked about if you want to make it really simple. You want to talk about a newsletter launching one really quickly, well, the first thing you can do is you can use a tool like substack, So substack is the tool itself. Or if you don't want to pay the commissions to substack, you can definitely check out. There's other options such as you know, you can combine like a convert kit, and then you can use like member press and things like that to make your own membership site and have a newsletter that way. That's kind of the These are the mechanisms that you can use. Now if you want to make a profitable newsletter fast, I would just say this, right, take a look at there is Morning Brew, there is The Hustle, and then there's a marketing newsletter called Stacked Marketer. And if you look at them, they're all fairly simple. They have they just explain you know, maybe like four or five news pieces per day. And then there's some there's some smalls in there, right, and these newsletters some are making two are making over eight figures, the other ones making that kind of just started out. It's doing six figures a year. These are all profitable newsletters, So I would say, sure you can have the tools I talked about in the beginning, but just look at who's doing it well and then see what you can emulate. Boom whila. In ten minutes, you have a profitable newsletter just to get things started. Yeah, and you can also use tools like Kujabi, and Kujabi does everything for you, for allowing you to create videos when you want to expand, to having all your newsletters in one place so people can end up logging in, to having your site, to charging their credit cards like literally, it can do it all for you, create the nice color schemes, so then that way you can be in control of your own destiny, handles all the emails, and it can do it for people who are paid non paid free trials, and it can just create a lot of customizations, especially if you decide to offer other products on top of your newsletter such as events or up sells or down cells or anything like that. Yeah, I think the key thing is if you're going to do this, you have to stay consistent. It's all these newsletters that I just mentioned earlier. They do it every single day, and there's a reason why they're so successful because if you stop the momentum, you stop the consistency, people are going to lose their attention and there's so much other content out there, Like why do they even need to read yours to do it? I would just say, look, you probably have to stay consistent for you know, let's call it three months minimum before you start to get you know, maybe you can start to get some other help. But these types of things take time, and it's the consistency. It's the momentum that keeps it going on. We actually were even thinking about doing a newsletter for marketing school that kind of remains to be seen, but there's a lot of work that goes into it, which is why we've kind of held off on it. Neil, Yeah, Eric's totally right on the consistency because it's not hard to get this up. Like literally, I can go to Kajabi and set something up in like ten minutes. The hardest part is being consistent cranking out the newsletters promoting them, because if you're not consistent, you're not going to do You're gonna have high trending and you're not gonna make any good money. Yep. And the same thing as a couple episodes ago, we talked about building a strong affiliate website. Don't try to monetize too quickly, don't try to get sponsorships too quickly. Don't try to just make money. Think about adding value first. Same thing with a strong affiliate website. Think same thing with a newsletter. Same thing with this podcast. We didn't monetize this podcast for years and years. I didn't monetize the Leveling Up podcast for you know, three years or so before we started messing around with you know, different options. So you know, be patient with it. Focus on value, and then you should be fine with generating a profitable newsletter in ten minutes flat. So that is it for today.
