If you want to rank higher on Google, you gotta look at your page speed time. The faster website loads, the better off you are with Google's Core Vital update. That makes it super super important to optimize your site for low time. And one easy way to do it is use the host that Eric and I use, dream Hosts. So just go to dream host or google it, find it, check it out, and it's a great way to improve your low time. All right, today, and we're going to talk about how to get five star reviews organically on Amazon. So Neil, let's talk about this first. Why are five star reviews important on Amazon? You need five star reviews to jack up your average review rating on Amazon. The real key is the moment you hit four point five stars are higher, you notice that your sales are drastically higher, typically by twenty or thirty percent more than if you had a four point two or something like that. Forget even the rank, and just a conversion for someone viewing to buying is much higher when you're at four point five or higher. That's why it's important. Yep. And so what are some things that are illegal? Run? Now? I know you can't go out there and openly ask for reviews. Yeah, you shouldn't do that. You can't bribe them either. A lot of people just say, hey, i'll give you my product for free, just redeve a coupon. Here's a coupon, and then go leave a five star review. But they know everyone's gaming the system and doing stuff like this. A lot of people are also creating fake accounts, like hundreds of fake accounts with different addresses, and doing real purchases and then leaving fake reviews as well, which they don't like. You can ask for real reviews, just not specifically a five star review if I'm not mistaken. Yeah, you can encourage people to reviewing, like, hey, you know, we'd love to know what the thoughts are on the product. Just lead a review. You can't tell them to leave a five star review. Cool, So you know the last tip I gave in the last episode talking about the five email marketing tips for book launches, because I'm in the middle of a book launch right now. You know, it doesn't have to be a book, it's just anything for Amazon. But if you do have an email list, or you do have an audience anywhere, and you can hit up your audience and say, hey, you know, I'm going to do this special thing right now, maybe I'll you know, show you how I'm doing the book launch behind the scenes, and you get a group of ambassadors, maybe they're paying you know, five hundred bucks, one thousand bucks, whatever, it is exactly the idea here is you have a group of people here that will be willing to organically post. It doesn't need to be five stars, but you know, the idea is, you know it's going to be five stars if your product is good, but you know, having it's actually kind of similar to when I think about crowdfunding. You basically have a community of people that are going to help get you, you know, help you in terms of you know, pushing you up anywhere, right, not even just Amazon, but really anywhere. So, yeah, the best strategy that I've seen, and we have so many customers that use Amazon. There's things that you can do to try to quote unquot hack the system. But I found what the best long term strategy is you encourage reviews. And then when you encourage reviews, some will be five, some will be four, three, et cetera. Read all the ones that aren't five star, figure out what you're doing wrong, and then try to fix it. It It really is that simple. It's the iterated process. Takes time, but once you get that going, you create a much better product. You get way more five star reviews. Also, do look at the five star reviews and see what they love the most, and then try to push that element within the copy of your listing. The reason being is if there's a specific feature of your product or something that's unique about it, and you push that, then you're going to get more buyers who buy it because of that, which will also encourage more five star reviews. From what we've seen, Yeah, I have a friend that has a company called Jungle Scale. And Jungle Scale there's an extension where you can actually bulk request reviews through Amazon. So just like a request of review button that's manual, you know it can help you do it at scale. So there's that and it seems like it's legit. And the other thing I'll say to you, Look, we talked about the email list, but you know, what are the other channels that you can use that you have, right, that you can call upon people to do it. And to Neil's point, I think you're really going to get better from the negative comments, right, So really look for the three star reviews obviously the two to one stars, and then also respond to them as well, right, and see if you can actually rectify what's going on, give them a refund, and then even talk about fixing because that's going to help you get to Neil's point, long term five star reviews, anything else, Neil, No, that's it, and just be patient. You're not going to get there right away. And keep in mind, if you're there right away, that means you probably don't have too many reviews, So you're gonna have to take your time because it's not about getting four point five or higher. It's about getting four point five or higher with hundreds of reviews. All right, Speaking of reviews, go get this book over here, leveling up dot com. Go to your favorite online retailer and leave a review, not a five star review. Leave a review, all right, Wall How can they leave a review if they don't have the book yet. They're going to go get it, right, guys, you're going to go get it all right. That's it for today. We'll see you tomorrow. We appreciate you joining us for this session of Marketing School.
