Let's start leveling up your marketing knowledge with your instructors, Neil Paatel and Eric Sue. All Right, guys, before we start, we got a special message from our sponsor. If you want to rank higher on Google, you got to look at your page speed time. The faster website loads, the better off you are with Google's Core Vital update. That makes it super super important to optimize your site for low time. And one easy way to do it is use the host that Eric and I use, dream Hosts, So just go to dream host or google it, find it, check it out, and it's a great way to improve your low time. Today we are going to talk about how to find the one piece of content that will change your marketing. So it's funny if you start working as a marketing with people who do a lot of blogging, you'll start seeing trends on Hey, this one piece of content is driving more conversions than anything else and is driving more leads or more sales, and you know you're just like, wait if I had way more pieces of that content or similar types of content, I would just drive way more revenue. And everyone tends to ask, hey, how do I get one hundred of those? How do I get a thousand of those? What's funny is you don't really know until you start creating a lot of content. And this is assuming that conversion tracking or goal tracking is set up. If you end up blogging, you create a lot of different types of content. You will see over time what produces leads and sales and which ones don't. And over time, as you produce more content that's similar to the ones that produce more leads and sales, you're going to be much better off. And then you'll know the one type of content that really helps your business grow. And I'll give you a great example of this. We do a monthly webinar. One of my previous webinars was on you know, it was on Google Core, web vitals and some SEO secrets, and I forgot the exact title of the webinar and it generated over four thousand leads. Of those, a large chunk became consulting leads. We closed zero customers from it. On the flip side, we did one on ads secrets from big brands, and it was related to Google and Facebook ads. We had half the amount of people register for the webinar. We promoted it just as hard, but fraction of the people ended up registering. But we got almost three times more leads, and we got quite a few sales from it as well. So it's not always what's going to be the most popular what you think is going to work the best based on registration count or lead count or you know, even inclination people like yeah, I would buy that product. You have to actually look at the number of what's causing the sales or what's causing the leads. Yep. So to Neil's point again, ideally you have conversion tracking set up in Google Analytics. So we're talking about your blog and pages on your site right now, look at not only what's driving the most traffic, but also what's converting because sometimes it's not necessarily the pieces that are driving a ton of traffic are the best. Because I think we rank for something called strike through Text generator that doesn't convert anything for us, right, but it gets a good amount of traffic. So you can look at that, or if you are looking at YouTube let's say you're a YouTuber. You can take a look at your YouTube analytics, but you're also going to have to take a look at what's converting, right, So what you might do on your video or maybe in the description or maybe the first comment, you might link it, and then you might be able to track that link, right, and then you might be able to track the links or the conversions on that as well. You just want to make sure that, at the end of the day, attribution is what matters. You want to make sure you get attribution right, because then you won't be kind of shooting in the dark when you're creating content. Because I'll tell you what I mean. Our YouTube channel, we do well for jobs related videos, right, But maybe that's not necessarily what I want to do. But the algorithm wants to force me in that direction, but it doesn't convert, so I'm not necessarily going to do that, right. That's something maybe we can talk about. But just the corgeous of this episode is really get your conversion tracking right so then you can know what you should build more of, Neil. Yeah, and you're gonna have to create a lot of content to figure that out. You know, even looking at your competitors and seeing what's popular in their site isn't going to tell you what works and what doesn't.
