I'm Eric Sue and I'm Neil Battl and today we are going to talk about what will replace contum marketing in So, what Eric and I really believe that's going to replace content marketing in twenty twenty one is going live on social media. Here's why. Yes, content marketing, you're creating content, most cases creating videos or writing blog posts or even doing a podcast. What people really enjoy is an interaction. And you can't get any better form of interaction with people creating content other than Live. And here's why we think Live is going to replace content marketing in twenty twenty one or traditional content marketing. One you can have the interaction and engagement. And two, this is the big kicker. Selling on live works extremely extremely well. Just go on Facebook, you'll see a lot of moms or dads or kids in the middle of nowhere selling online like they would on home shopping network. Being live, people responding in comments on Facebook, and you can literally get people to buy from you by just leaving a comment. They don't even have to go to your checkout page. It's super effective. You can do this for services, for products, whatever you want. Going live is the future of not just having a captivating audience, but generating income from them right then and there. So let's think about this for a second. The biggest platforms out there, the biggest companies. You have Facebook, you have which has Instagram as well. You have Facebook, you have Instagram, and you also have Google, which owns YouTube. Right, what do they all have? They all have Live, same with Microsoft now LinkedIn you go live as well. Live keeps people on the platform, So the platforms are incentivized to help you out because they care about their engagement metrics. So to Neil's point, it builds community as well. And also arguably it's easier because us doing this podcast right now. It's much easier than writing a blog post because when you're writing a blog post, you have to do a lot of research. For me, when I write a two or three thousand word blog posts, it typically takes me two weeks to get it done because I might spend like thirty minutes an hour a day, you know, getting it done, and then I'm might have to proof read it afterwards as well. So if you're looking to build a lot more leverage nowadays, if you're good on camera, you have If you look at the people in China that are doing the live shopping, they're making a ton of money. They're making a big thing over here too, Nei'll just refer to the old days of and they're still doing it QVC all this live shopping networks, so it just makes sense. And plus the content that we're doing right now, let's say we're doing it live and there's an audience following us. We also chop the content up people ask us separate questions. We might chop that content up as well into social so it's much easier to repurpose as well. So you have all these benefits that you typically wouldn't get if you just attack one channel, Neil, And here's a kicker, even if you don't have a big social following, they'll push your content out to your followers, followers and other random people who they think would be interested in your content. So you'll notice that you'll get way more people if you go live versus if you didn't, or you just created a text based content or uploaded a video. All right, so that is it for today, and guys try it out live. It is a form of content marketing, but we do think it's significantly different. So that is it for today.
