So just go to dream host or Google it, find it, check it out, and it's a great way to improve your load time. Welcome to another episode of Marketing School. I'm Eric Sue and I'm the Hoe Patel, and today we're going to talk about if if you actually still need to build links if your traffic is growing. Neil, you do this a lot. What are your thoughts around this? Yeah, you don't really need to keep building links if your traffic's growing. You need to build links when your traffic's not growing. The funny thing with link building too is try to phase it all out. It's more so if you build links, you won't get results for three to six months later, So look at it as cycles. If your traffic's growing and it starts growing for you know, three to six months, then at the end, I assume it's going to start flattening out. So towards the end, that's when you should start building a bit more links. As things really flatten out, you know, you don't really need to build too anymore because you know it's going to go up, But when it starts declining on the upward swing, that's when I start building more and more. The reason I do this in base is not just build continually each and every single month is one it's really expensive and two you know it's really time consuming. So instead of growing links once you have a good base, I like growing traffic the same way Eric does, and which if you just keep writing more content, there's more words on your site and then you'll naturally get more search traffic from that, so you don't just have to build links to keep getting traffic. Easier ways to write more content, but if you don't have enough links, adding more content is not really going to help, so you need to do a mixture of it. And that's why I like basing it roughly online. I'm probably building links like once every quarter, yep. So I'm basically the same way. So I guess I can just share experiences instead because I'm basically it's the same. It's a consensus here. So you know, if I look at the traffic for the single grain block, when I first started helping single brain out, we were at about let's say, let's I want to say, like five to seven thousand visits a month, and then now we're you know, we continue to hit all time highs each month. Last month was about fifty eight thousand or so. And all we're doing is it's the same kind of strategy, right, so maybe each quarter we might focus a little more, you know, dial up link building a little bit, and you know, but what we're constantly doing, which what's always consistent, is we're constantly creating more content. So it's not only that, it's like, how do we keep improving on our content strategy? Right, So what we added to our tool belt, I want to say in the last three hundred and sixty five days, you've heard me talk about upgrading content right, So that works really well for me. It doesn't work as well for Neil, but as long as it continues to work well for me, I'm going to do that right. Also, at the same time, it's repurposing content. So let's say the growth everywhere interviews that I do, because I spend thirty to forty five minutes talking to people, why don't I figure out how to you know, make those pieces into more bite sized pieces that can become blog posts themselves. So it's all about repurposing content too. And then I have, you know, more writers as well. We're always adding more writers, you know, we're picking people off from pro Blogger. I'm always reaching out to people as well. So how can you continue to upgrade your content strategy? If you find that, you know, given your domain authority, when you create content, it's already starting to bring in traffic naturally, that's when you know you have you can maybe dial link building down a little bit and then focus more on content creation, which is what Neil does really HEAVILYNK. Yeah, I'm a big believer if you just create a ton of content over the years, we'll see more and more growth. But you know, as Eric and I both mentioned, you need a base of links because if you don't, you're not going to do too well. So it's just a bit of mixture of everything. So I don't really have much more to add around this, I mean, besides the tools that we've mentioned in the past. I mean, if you want to track your link building, you know, use hrefs. That's just go to Growth Everywhere dot com slash a h R e F s S S and Sugar growth aforow dot com slash HRUs. And one more tool that we want to offer to you is called lead quizzes. So lead quizzes will allow you to make different types of quizzes to collect leads at much cheaper. We're talking about you know, running Facebook ads to a quiz and literally getting leads for maybe twenty five cents of pop right, and at that point, you know, if the numbers work out for you, you might be making a lot of money. So anyway, we're gonna give it one year subscription of lead quizes, and all you need to do to get in on this is to subscribe, rape and review and to confirm that you did it.
