Let's start leveling up your marketing knowledge with your instructors, Neil Patel and Eric Sue. All Right, guys, before we start, we got a special message from our sponsor. If you want to rank higher on Google, you gotta look at your page speed time. The faster website loads, the better off you are with Google's Core Vital update. That makes it super super important to optimize your site for low time. And one easy way to do it is use the host that Eric and I use, dream Hosts, So just go to dream host or Google it, find it, check it out, and it's a great way to improve your low time. Today, we're going to talk about an obscenely simple way to boost time on site by twenty five percent. So here's a simple approach. This episode be shorter than our normal ones, and it's actually just adding videos. So Eric and I have been doing a lot of tests. By adding video or audio files within your blog posts, we're seeing upwards of twenty five percent higher time on site. It's really simple. It's a silly strategy, but it works. Now. Eric and I create our own videos, so it's very effective for us because people are reading our content, we're embedding our YouTube videos. We're getting more traffic on our both YouTube and our blog posts. So it's a double whammy plus or time on site's getting better. But if you don't create YouTube videos like us, what you can just do is you can bet other people's videos on within your content that are very related. Yeah, and when you think about why, people end up saying it's kind of duh, right, So the time to value, they'll read your blog posts, but then if you add in a really good piece of content that's maybe ten to fifteen additional minutes, that's going to boost your time on site, right, So I believe so our mutual friends Sayeed, he has a YouTube it's I think the plug in the word Press plugs called YouTube subscribe, so he can literally take one in Neil's videos or my videos and then put it embedded on his blog. But then when people hit the subscribe one, it actually subscribes to their YouTube channel. So you can try that if you know, that's just a bonus. Yeah, And I don't know if you should trick people like that, because then you're gonna get subscribers that aren't related or aren't into your channel. Because you want to make sure when you have subscribers are actually watching your videos, because if they're subscribing to something they're not familiar with, they're probably not gonna watch your videos, which is gonna ruin your overall YouTube. You should add a disclaimer as well. Yeah, so the plug and I believe does have a disclaimer in it. But you should just not try to like fool people, right, So I agree with that, Neil.
