Oil prices and the sector had a good year in 2022. However, Brent crude oil futures are flat YTD at  US$85/barrel. This in spite of oil pundits earlier in the year calling for prices to reach US$100/barrel which was supposed to be underpinned by strong demand from a China reopening.
