In the New York City mayoral race, had Andrew Cuomo not entered the contest, Eric Adams would likely have secured the Democratic primary, but Zohran Mamdani ultimately claimed that spot instead. New York City is also moving forward with installing additional speed cameras, following the model of San Francisco, which has generated approximately $17 million annually from its own camera program.
