This transformative hub aims to provide a comprehensive services to victims and survivors of sexual assault, child abuse, elder abuse, human trafficking, and stalking all under one roof. Kim McCoy, the new executive director, brings her extensive experience as the former director of the DA's Victim Witness Unit. She has been pivotal in making the center a reality along Jason Saliba, Deputy Chief assistant district attorney. The journey began with a visit to San Diego's Advocacy center and was fueled by a $400,000 grant from the Criminal Justice Coordinating Council. We're not just keeping promises, we're building stronger collaborations for comprehensive victim services. The center partners with organizations like Live Safe Resources and Safe Path Children's Advocacy Center to offer essential support.
