We try to go at it at top speed, especially after we've had to take time out for ourselves, our health, or children, our family, our friends.

We make a “top priority” task list then paralyse ourselves because EVERYTHING is a top priority ( and it’s not)

And then we fall into a sprint/collapse/sprint cycle that catches us in an unending spiral of not getting anywhere MORE than where we are now

It also can cause us to short term think rather than commit to a more strategic long term plan that will resolve common repeated issues.

Maybe it's time to see our business journey more like a MARATHON
And pace ourselves a little better.
