Yesterday was a big day in Australia. You may or may not have known that it was the Melbourne Cup and there's a specific link between King Charles and Bec Judd that has them not as worried about the interest rates rise as the rest of us.

On Monday, author Craig Silvey was sentenced to seven months in prison. The same day, he published a 9,000-word ‘apology’ on Substack. We unpack what's in it, what's missing from it and how he was even able to publish it.

Plus, last year we were all told to ‘Let Them’. Now, a character on Nobody Wants This says we should ‘Make Them’. We ask why men and women are given such different self-help advice.

Also, Kim Kardashian's authorised biography is out, and Holly has a question: if someone wrote the story of your life, what would you make them take out?

If you have experienced sexual assault and are in need of support, please call 1800 RESPECT on 1800 737 732. Help is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. You can also contact Bravehearts for counselling and support for survivors of sexual abuse on 1800 272 831 and Lifeline for 24-hour crisis support and suicide prevention.
