Influencer marketing has changed - and what worked a few years ago isn’t necessarily what’s working now.

In this episode, I’m breaking down the shift I’m seeing away from huge influencer partnerships towards smaller creators, authentic recommendations and content that feels more like word of mouth than traditional advertising.

I get into why nano influencers can be so valuable for brands, what makes people actually trust a recommendation and why having a huge following doesn’t automatically mean someone can influence purchasing decisions.

I also share how these changes influenced the way I completely pivoted the content strategy for Make It Happen - and what I’m focusing on now to build trust, attention and a stronger community.

Because the goal isn’t just to reach more people. It’s to reach people who actually care.
