Married At First Sight UK has officially been cancelled following the BBC investigation into the program earlier this year, where two former brides claimed they were raped by their grooms while filming the show. Another former bride accused her on-screen match of sexual misconduct. The men accused have denied all allegations against them.
Channel 4, the shows home in the UK, responded by launching a review of welfare protocols that were in place at the time of filming. Now, the network has confirmed the series will no longer be returning to screens – including the next season, which has already been filmed.
