We interviewed Robert MacFarlane who is directing and performing in the opera The Man Who Mistook His Wife For A Hat which is showing at The Atheneum in March. Tickets available from Ticketmaster and at the theatre.

Based on the book of the same name by Oliver Sacks, it is 40 years since the book was published.  Robert whose work is played on a regular basis on Maestro On The Mic spoke of how the opera got his interest when his father mistook him for a cat when he was seriously ill. Fortunately he made a full recovery as did the cat who was most offended at the comparison.

Robert has a new album coming out shortly.  Previously he had released Nurseratched's  Catastrophically Ourselves which featured My Opera Career is Over  and other great tracks.
