We interviewed Loretta Miller about the Castlemaine Town Folk Festival on Saturday 16 November, 2024 where she is appearing as part of Ruby & Loretta.  She denies connection to the Beatles. Also attending the festival will be  artists such as Marlon Williams, Tesky Brothers,  Ngaiire, A. Savage, Yinda, Grace Cummings, Jess Ribero and Queenie and a whole cask of others!  Loretta has a book and a TV series in her for sure.

Their art work in preserving various animals that have since become extinct is a sad reminder of so called progress.

We also spoke to Bob ‘Bongo’ Starkie guitarist with Skyhooks and played on all their albums.  He told us about his connection with Ringo Starr, trying to make it big in the USA and three months in a bus. And more importantly his Skyhooks Show which comes to Bunjil Place, Narre Warren on Friday 15 November. You can get tickets from skyhooksshow.com .
