Maed in India is back with the second edition of Our Neighbours. It’s another Independence Day that we, here in India, are celebrating in a pandemic. And with this special initiative, we want to bring together independent artists from across the Subcontinent – defying borders, united by music. Since travelling seems like a distant dream at the moment; sit back, relax, and let the music in this episode take you on a vibrant voyage through Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Nepal and Bangladesh. Started in 2015, music nerd and ex-radio presenter Mae Mariyam Thomas showcases the best talent coming out of South Asia and its diaspora. 

The show is India’s first indie music podcast and prides itself on being the premier destination for new music, little known stories that give you a peek into the lives of independent musicians, as well as being an ongoing archive of unreleased music never heard before.
