Hip hop fans in Madison are in for a major night as Termanology hits the stage at Majestic Theatre on Thursday, April 23, alongside Jay Electronica as part of the 19 Day Reconnaissance Tour.

After nearly a decade away from Wisconsin, Termanology is making his long-awaited return, and he made it clear, this one is overdue. “I haven’t been back to Wisconsin in about 10 years,” he shared during a recent interview. “It’s long overdue. I’m excited to be here.”

A new barbecue destination is firing up in downtown Madison as Pink Heifer BBQ Saloon officially opens its doors at 567 State Street. The fast casual barbecue restaurant brings smoked meats, bold flavors, and late night service right to the heart of State Street, just steps from the Capitol.

Pink Heifer started in Monticello, Wisconsin, where the team spent four years perfecting recipes before expanding to Madison. Their State Street location focuses on quick service barbecue without sacrificing quality, featuring slow smoked brisket cooked for 12 to 14 hours, pulled pork, smoked chicken, and signature sides like mac and cheese and cornbread. The brisket is the standout, developed with guidance from veteran pit master John Rosenberg, who brings more than 25 years of barbecue experience.

One of the most popular menu items is the brisket and cheddar egg rolls, known as Wagon Rolls, served with Carolina gold sauce. Pink Heifer also supports the community through the Farmers and Family Initiative, donating one dollar from every Wagon Roll sold to help local farm families. Guests can also round up their purchase at the register to contribute.

The Madison location offers unique quick service barbecue with a saloon style atmosphere, tap beers, and single serve cocktails.
