McRoberts watched from a war zone. Dai Henwood scheduled surgery around the draw. The comedian pulls back the curtain on a level of Warriors devotion that's somewhere between elite and a cry for help — three grades plus every other NRL game, upwards of 30 hours a week, rewatching matches "like the Academy watching a film."

And then there's the ketamine. Fresh out of surgery, Dai demanded his iPad, briefly convinced the game was being projected in 3D on his own stomach. A nurse set him straight.
