Episode 1186 - Max Frost

View descriptionShare

Max Frost had a busy 2019, supporting Rob Thomas around his North American Tour, opening for Twenty One Pilots on their US headline Bandito Tour as well as performing at Lollapalooza in August. Max has also achieved four consecutive songs go to Number One on esteemed music blog HypeMachine.

Max Frost is best known for his smash hit Good Morning which has over 40 Million Global Streams to date and over 3 Million views on YouTube! Max has worked with global stars such as DJ Snake and previously supported Panic! At The Disco, Fitz and The Tantrums, and Gary Clark Jr.

Creative freedom, and the ability to write and record music driven by feeling and instinct, has always been central to Frost’s musical mindset. Playing the drums and guitar by age eight, and typically the youngest members of the diverse bands he was in as a teenager — everything from bluegrass to blues and jazz to hip-hop — Frost says it was the emotional connection to the music that forever drove his passion.

At the time of this interview, Max Frost was in Australia, touring with Bastille, with hopes of not just entertaining Aussie crowds, but making a difference after the devastating bushfires of the Summer.  But, it's not just his heart of gold that makes Luke and Susie want to claim him as an honorary Australian.
