Sarina Rausa is an internationally acclaimed opera singer known for her captivating soprano voice and remarkable performances. Hailing from Australia, she has significantly impacted opera with her talent and dedication.
Falling into music influenced by early panko lessons and ballet at an early age, Sarina embarked on her musical journey. She honed her skills as a vocalist with degrees in music and a Master's degree in Arts, specialising in Musical analysis at La Trobe University in Victoria, Australia. After graduation, Sarina attended Melbourne University, obtaining a Diploma of Education and subsequently worked as the music liaison officer for the Italian Arts Festival, which at the time was part of the Festival of two Worlds, a collaboration founded by the famous Italo-American composer Gian Carlo Menotti, connecting the Arts Festivals of Spoleto, Charleston.
Sarina migrated to Europe, and throughout her long career, Sarina collaborated with renowned artists and performed in prestigious venues worldwide.
While Sarina's talent knows no bounds, it is worth mentioning that she has Australian-Italian roots. This cultural blend adds a unique flavour to her performances, captivating audiences with her diverse musical interpretation.
Sarina's dedication to her craft and ability to evoke emotions through her powerful voice has solidified her status as an esteemed opera singer. Her contributions to the opera world continue to leave a lasting impact, inspiring aspiring musicians and captivating audiences.
