Dr Claire Albrecht is a poet and editor from Mulubinba (Newcastle), now living on Wiradjuri Country in Parkes. Her poetry has been published widely in Australia, New Zealand, and Canada, and she has been a writer in residence across Australia and as far as New Mexico, USA. Claire's published books include pinky swear and handshake, and her poem 'The Anabranch' won the 2022 Newcastle Poetry Prize.
