Melbourne/Naarm-based broadcaster Jacob Gamble produces and hosts 3CR program Queering The Air. Gamble recently visited Darwin where they covered local tensions over a queer mural for print media.  The broadcaster told SYN Media's Sammy Perryman responsible and informed reporting is paramount when engaging with the queer community, particularly amid a rise in targeted public rhetoric.
