The multi-billion-rand development nestled between the Umhlanga and Umdloti Rivers is known as the Sibaya Precinct - an innovative eco-estate for the live-work-play lifestyle. The initial project comprised residential properties but will now include commercial, retail, hospitality and medical facilities as well. Spearheaded by property developer, DEVMCO, the Sibaya Precinct aims to offer families a safer and alternative lifestyle as compared to towns around the area. The new vision is expected to inject five billion rand into KZN's economy including over 70-thousand direct and indirect jobs over the next five years.
