Choosing locations for film productions can help to boost local economies through tourism in small towns in KwaZulu-Natal. That was the main conclusion drawn from the panel discussion by the KZN Tourism and Film Authority entitled Filming the Future. Panelists at Africa's Travel Indaba spoke about the reciprocal relationship between tourism and the film industry.
