By Newsbreak Producer, Tashlan Naidoo - A second suspect in a human trafficking and sexual assault case involving a controversial businessman is expected to appear in the Durban Magistrates' Court today. The 48-year-old handed himself over to police yesterday and faces charges of human trafficking, sexual assault and kidnapping. This follows the arrest of a Durban businessman linked to the same case, who also faces charges under the Cybercrimes and Films and Publications Acts. The case dates back to 2022, when four young women were rescued from a Durban North property after allegedly being lured from Johannesburg with fake job offers and forced into sexual exploitation.
