Rise Mzansi's National Assembly Whip, Makashule Gana, painted a stark picture, revealing that nearly 5 million young South Africans are jobless – a number greater than the entire population of Namibia. The unemployment rate for youth aged 15 to 24 has soared to a staggering 62.4%. For those aged 25 to 34, the unemployment rate stands at 40.4%.
