By Newsbreak Producer, Tashlan Naidoo - The 1860 Heritage Center in Durban will celebrate Women's Day tomorrow by commemorating the fearless ladies who were at the forefront in the fight against the apartheid regime. A dialogue will be hosted featuring activists such as Ela Gandhi and Coral Vinsen among others. Women's Day commemorates the historic 1956 march of over 20-thousand women to the Union Buildings in Pretoria against the apartheid that restricted the movement of Black people. Director of the 1860 Heritage Center, Selvan Naidoo says it is critical for these conversations to take place in order to educate the public on the role women played for a democratic South Africa....
