By Newsbreak Producer, Shanell Daniel - Earlier this week Newsbreak's Shanell Daniel spoke with Marcus Richards, a member of the Communications Directorate for the South-Western Civics Alliance regarding a water crisis in parts of the south of Durban. Residents in parts of Shallcross, Savannah Park, Queensburgh and Chatsworth say they feel abandoned by the eThekwini Municipality after being without water since Christmas. According to Richards, the areas have faced ongoing water challenges since the 2022 floods. Newsbreak contacted eThekwini Municipality for comment regarding the ongoing water challenges in parts of the south of Durban.
