By Newsbreak Producer Matthew Veeran - Veteran South African journalist Fakir Hassen has released a new book celebrating the centenary of legendary Indian playback singer Mohammed Rafi. Titled "Sau Saal Pehle" (A Hundred Years Ago), the book features fan tributes, historical accounts of Rafi's South African tour during apartheid and a chapter by the Rajab family who spearheaded the tour. The book will be available free of charge at all major libraries and as an eBook.
