By Newsbreak Producer, Taliesha Naidoo - Two people have been killed and several injured during violent protest action in Diepkloof, Soweto this morning. The incident unfolded after residents looted a delivery truck carrying canned fish as it passed through the local hostel early this morning. The situation quickly escalated, resulting in the truck being torched as well as two confirmed fatalities. Police have opened a case of public violence and investigations are ongoing.
