Social media application, TikTok could soon be banned in the United States - as a growing number of countries limit access to the platform. The US Supreme Court will hear arguments this Friday from TikTok and its China-based owner ByteDance, which is seeking to block a law signed by outgoing President Joe Biden. The law states that the ban will be introduced from the 19th of this month unless it divests from its parent company, due to national security concerns. The US could be added to the list of countries which have banned or limited the platforms access to people including Australia, Afghanistan, Denmak and Canada among others.
