Three men charged in connection with the kidnapping and killing of seven members of a family from Newark on the KwaZulu-Natal north coast, abandoned their bail application at the KwaDukuza Magistrate's Court. Businessman Alan Monswamy, his wife, their two children, and three relatives - were abducted from their home last Tuesday. According to authorities, they were stabbed and shot, and their bodies were found roughly 200 kilometres away from their home the day after.
