By Newsbreak Producer Taliesha Naidoo - The South African Weather Service (SAWS) has issued an alert for strong, damaging winds that will hit parts of KwaZulu-Natal tomorrow (Wednesday). This, as a significant cold front sweeps across parts of South Africa from today (Tuesday) which will see provinces like KZN experience a sharp drop in temperatures, possible heavy rains, snow and potentially hazardous weather conditions. *Meanwhile, KwaZulu-Natal Department of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs (Cogta) says disaster management teams have been placed on high alert. KZN COGTA spokesperson, Sezelwa Mzila says their teams are in communication with weather authorities and will continue to monitor the developing weather system closely.
