This, as a significant cold front sweeps across parts of South Africa from today (Tuesday) which will see provinces like KZN experience a sharp drop in temperatures, possible heavy rains, snow and potentially hazardous weather conditions. Senior SAWS forecaster, Tokelo Chiloane is urging the public to take the necessary precautions to protect themselves and their pets against any weather related dangers...
*Meanwhile, KwaZulu-Natal Department of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs (Cogta) says disaster management teams have been placed on high alert. KZN COGTA spokesperson, Sezelwa Mzila says their teams are in communication with weather authorities and will continue to monitor the developing weather system closely.
